We provide a technological solution via our Platform for Clients and via mobile app for temporary workers (“Catchers Workers”) to facilitate work opportunities and job completion. We collect and process personal data when you interact with us, such as by registering on the Platform, requesting shifts, or contacting us. The data we collect depends on how you engage with us:

Clients Using the Platform:

  • Registration and Account Data: Business name, Companies House number, authorised representative’s name, contact details (email, phone number), invoicing and bank details, VAT number (if applicable).
  • Shift Requests: Details about the shift (e.g., task, date, location, hours, rate), and any communications related to shift coordination.
  • Payment Data: Financial details necessary for processing payments to The Catchers for the provided service Usage Data: Automatically generated data about how you use the Platform (e.g., login times, pages visited).

Business Contacts (e.g., Suppliers or Partners):

  • Name, job title, contact details (email, phone number), and business-related data (e.g., Chamber of Commerce number, payment details).
  • Usage Data: Automatically generated data about how you use the Platform (e.g., login times, pages visited).

Job Seekers or Catchers Workers

  • Registration and Account Data: Name and Surname, contact details (email, phone number), invoicing and bank details, copy of ID (might be something else? – we need to see if workers are coming to the site)
  • Payment Data: Financial details necessary for processing payments to Catchers Workers for the provided service (e.g., bank account details).
  • Usage Data: Automatically generated data about how you use the Platform (e.g., login times, pages visited).

Website Visitors:

  • Data collected via cookies or analytics tools (e.g., IP address, browser type), as detailed in Section 8 (Cookies).

We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health or biometric data) from clients unless explicitly provided by you and necessary for a specific purpose, with your consent.

3. Why We Process Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To facilitate shift requests, connect you with Catchers Workers, and manage Assignments, to comply with the legal and contractual obligations that rest on us and the clients, in order to be able to provide relevant insurance if necessary
  • Payment Processing: To invoice you for Platform fees and facilitate payments to Catchers Workers.
  • Communication: To respond to your inquiries, provide support, and send service-related updates, to manage relationships with Clients, Catchers Workers, suppliers or other business relationships
  • Improvement: To enhance the Platform’s functionality and user experience based on usage data.
  • Marketing: To send newsletters or promotional offers about our services, with your consent where required, to be able to invite you to our events.
  • Legal Compliance: To meet tax, financial, or other legal obligations (e.g., reporting to HM Revenue & Customs).
  • Quality Assurance: To conduct audits or surveys to maintain service standards.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your data based on one or more of the following legal grounds under the UK GDPR:

  • Catchers Workers: Limited data (e.g., shift details, business name) to enable them to perform requested shifts.
  • Affiliated Companies: Within the Catchers group, where relevant to service delivery, subject to the same privacy standards.
  • Service Providers: Third-party processors, such as:
    • Payment and factoring providers to process invoices and payments.
    • IT and hosting providers to maintain the Platform.
    • Digital marketing agents (e.g., for promotional emails, with your consent).
    • Identity verification services (e.g., if required for compliance checks).
  • Regulators and Authorities: Where legally required (e.g., HM Revenue & Customs) or in response to a court order.
  • Auditors: For quality assurance and compliance checks.

We do not transfer your data outside the UK unless the recipient ensures an adequate level of protection equivalent to UK GDPR standards. All third-party processors are carefully selected and bound by agreements to protect your data.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Active Clients: Data is stored while your account is active and for up to 12 months after your last interaction with the Platform, unless longer retention is legally required.
  • Financial Data: Retained for 7 years to comply with UK tax and accounting laws.
  • Usage Data: Anonymized after 12 months of inactivity for statistical purposes.
  • Marketing Data: Kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Once retention periods expire, your data is securely deleted or anonymized so it can no longer identify you.
